Our Services

Starting on the day of birth, we will see your baby every day in the hospital. After you go home, we will schedule frequent appointments for growth monitoring, vaccinations, and other important infant healthcare services.
 
At the age of three, your child will transition to annual well-child exams. We hold open appointments every day for sick visits, such as fevers, rashes, and other common childhood illnesses. We are also available for specialized services such as camp and sports physicals, as well as consultations for complex medical or behavioral issues.
 
If your child is hospitalized, we will ensure continuity of care. We work closely with hospital doctors and staff, as well as any needed specialists. After discharge, we will provide follow-up care as required. Hospitals with which we are affiliated include:

• Children's Hospital of Philadelphia ("CHOP")
• Nemours duPont Hospital for Children
• Virtua Voorhees Hospital
• St. Christopher's Hospital for Children

Our Team

The backbone of our team is Dr. Ludwig Schlitt, who joined the practice in 1960 and has played a huge role in guiding its development. Dr. Schlitt has retired from active patient care, but he remains with us in an administrative role. Our team now features three pediatricians who are members of the next generation of Schlitts, as well as two additional highly skilled pediatricians, four wonderful nurse practitioners, and a compassionate support team.
