Dr. Paul is a diplomate of the American Board of Pediatrics and a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics. He received a bachelor's degree from Cornell University in 1992. He earned his medical degree at the University at Buffalo School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences. Upon completing his residency in Pediatrics in 1999 at Children's Hospital of Philadelphia, he pursued an academic fellowship in general pediatrics at Brown University. Prior to joining Advocare Haddon Pediatric Group in 2008, Dr. Matz taught in the pediatric residency program at St. Christopher's Hospital for Children. He has published several academic articles, co-authored a pediatric safety book for parents, and co-edited a textbook on visual diagnosis in pediatrics. He is married and has three daughters.
