Beginning on the day of birth, we will see your baby daily in the hospital. After you go home, we will schedule frequent visits for immunizations, growth monitoring, and other vital infant services.
When your child turns three, he will transition to well-child annual exams. We hold appointment times open daily for sick visits, including fevers, rashes, and other common childhood ailments. We are also available for such specialized services as sports and camp physicals.
If your child is hospitalized, we will ensure continuity of care. We are affiliated with multiple nearby hospitals, and we will work closely with the hospital doctors and staff, as well as any specialists. After your child is discharged, we will provide needed follow-up care.
Our knowledgeable and highly experienced pediatric team begins with Dr. Ludwig Schlitt, who joined the practice in 1960 and has been extremely influential in its growth and development. Dr. Schlitt is now retired from active patient care, but he remains with the practice in an administrative role. The tradition continues with three pediatricians from the next generation of Schlitts. They are joined by two additional highly skilled pediatricians, four wonderful nurse practitioners, and an experienced and compassionate support team.
