Starting on the day of birth, we will see your baby daily in the hospital. After you go home, we will schedule frequent well-baby checkups complete with immunizations, growth monitoring, and other important health services.
At the age of three, we will transition your child to annual physicals. We also keep appointment times available each day for sick-child visits to treat fevers, rashes, and other childhood ailments. We are available for sports and camp physicals and other specialized needs as well.
If your child is hospitalized, we will maintain continuity of care. We are associated with several nearby hospitals, and we work closely with hospital physicians and staff, as well as specialists. When your child is discharged, we will provide follow-up care as needed.
We have an experienced and knowledgeable team of pediatric specialists, including Dr. Ludwig Schlitt, who joined the practice in 1960 and helped drive its growth. Dr. Schlitt is retired from active patient care, but he continues to serve in an administrative capacity. We now have three members of the next generation of Schlitts, as well as two additional talented pediatricians and four top-notch nurse practitioners. We also have a highly experienced and compassionate support team.
