Beginning on the day he is born, we will see your baby daily in the hospital. When you take your baby home, we will schedule frequent checkups that include immunizations, growth monitoring, and other critical infant services.
When your child is three, he will switch to annual well-child exams. We have appointment times available each day for sick visits, including rashes, fevers, and other common childhood ailments. We are also available as needed for such specialized services as camp and sports physicals.
If your child is admitted to the hospital, we will promote continuity of care. Affiliated with numerous area hospitals, we will work closely with the hospital physicians and staff, as well as whatever specialists are required. After discharge, we will provide follow-up care as needed.
Our highly skilled and experienced pediatric team starts with Dr. Ludwig Schlitt, who has been with the practice since 1960 and has been extremely influential in guiding its development. Although he is now retired from active patient care, Dr. Schlitt remains with the team in an administrative capacity. We now have three pediatricians from the next generation of the Schlitt family, along with two additional experienced pediatricians, four excellent nurse practitioners, and an extremely compassionate support team.
