Starting on the day your baby is born, we will see him daily in the hospital. When you return home, we will schedule frequent checkups with growth monitoring, immunizations, and other crucial infant services.
At age three, your child will transition to annual well-child exams. We also hold open appointment times every day for sick-child needs, such as treating rashes, fevers, and other common childhood illnesses. In addition, we are available for specialized services such as camp and sports physicals.
Should your child require hospitalization, we will ensure continuity of care. Associated with several local hospitals, we will work closely with the hospital doctors and staff, along with any needed specialists. After discharge, we will provide follow-up care.
Our experienced and knowledgeable pediatric team includes Dr. Ludwig Schlitt, who has been with the practice since 1960 and was highly influential in its development. Although he is now retired from active patient care, Dr. Schlitt continues to serve the practice in an administrative capacity. Three of our pediatricians are members of the next generation of Schlitts. We also have three additional highly skilled pediatricians, along with three tremendous nurse practitioners and a compassionate, experienced support team.
