Beginning on the day of birth, we will visit your baby every day in the hospital. After you go home, your baby will have frequent appointments for vaccinations, growth monitoring, and other key infant healthcare services.
Around her third birthday, your child will switch to annual well-child visits. Appointments are available daily for sick visits, such as fevers, rashes, and other common ailments of childhood. We are available as needed for camp and sports physicals and other specialized services, as well as consultations for complex medical or behavioral issues.
If your child is hospitalized, we will work hard to promote continuity of care. We work hand in hand with hospital doctors and staff, as well as any needed specialists. After discharge, we will provide follow-up care as appropriate. Hospitals with which we are affiliated include:
Dr. Ludwig Schlitt joined the practice in 1960 and has been highly influential in guiding its development. Although Dr. Schlitt is now retired from active patient care, he remains the backbone of our team in an administrative role. We now have three pediatricians from the next generation of Schlitts, as well as three additional highly experienced pediatricians, four excellent nurse practitioners, and a tremendously skilled and compassionate support team.
