Beginning on the day your child is born, we will examine him or her daily in the hospital. After you go home, we will schedule frequent visits during your baby’s first three years of life for growth monitoring, well-baby checkups, immunizations, and other vital health services.
At three, your child will transition to annual checkups. We also hold appointment times open each day for sick visits, during which we can treat rashes, fevers, and other common childhood illnesses. We are also here for sports or camp physicals and other specialized care.
If your child needs hospitalization, rest assured that we will maintain our continuity of care. We are affiliated with a variety of local hospitals, and we will work closely with the hospital doctors, specialists, and care team. We will also provide follow-up treatment as needed after discharge.
Our highly experienced team of pediatric specialists includes two generations of the Schlitt family. Now retired from active patient care, Dr. Ludwig Schlitt joined the practice in 1960 and played a vital role in its development. He continues to serve as an administrator. We now have three members of the next generation of Schlitts, along with two additional highly skilled pediatricians and four excellent nurse practitioners. Our compassionate and experienced support team works hard to provide superior care to our patients and their families.
